Is Twitter Killing Blogland?

I used to check several dozen blogs a day. Subbed to RSS feeds and reading like a kid the last week of summer getting that list read! Now, not so much. A lot of the people I used to read are blogging all day now, each entry 140 characters or less.

Don’t get me wrong; I love Twitter! I am starting to miss reading long entries, with prose that truly described that vacation destination instead of slapping a Twitpic up and tweeting, “We’re here!”

Maybe it’s just me. I do have a little something up my sleeve, though. I’ll be writing for eTweeple.com pretty soon, and I’ll be writing about the artsy-crafty-etsy people on Twitter! So I’ll have more than 140 characters to tell about all the cool things you’re doing, linking to your etsy stores, and telling the world who you are!!
